NGAA/EAANG JOINT CONFERENCE

This year’s conference at the Embassy Suites Northwest Arkansas and Hammons Convention Center in Rogers, Arkansas, is a combined undertaking of the National Guard Association of Arkansas (NGAA) and the Enlisted Association of the Arkansas National Guard (EAANG). The conference exhibits and registration will open at 1:00 p.m., Friday, April 9th. If you pre-register for the conference, your conference packet will be ready for pickup at that time. If you do not register until you arrive at the conference, there will be an extra fee.

On Friday evening, you will want to visit all the hospitality rooms hosted by Arkansas Army and Air Guard units. Saturday promises to be a full day with the business meeting in the morning, NGAA and EAANG auxiliary business meetings, EAANG auxiliary silent auction, and a complimentary luncheon for conference attendees and their families. The Saturday evening traditional formal military banquet complete with a parade of commanders/command sergeants major/command chiefs is always a conference highlight. After an outstanding meal and excellent entertainment, you will want to be sure to stop by all the hospitality rooms one more time. It will be necessary this year for all attendees to show their conference name tag in order to gain admittance to the hospitality rooms and all other conference events. Individuals will be assigned to check your name tag, so please be sure to have that in your possession at all times.

Now, backing up a day or two … On Thursday and Friday, April 8th and 9th, the Adjutant General will conduct the annual command leadership conference, a federally funded event. This conference will also be held at the Embassy Suites, and participants attending that will be notified by the Arkansas National Guard command group. The command group will also coordinate lodging rooms at the Embassy Suites on April 8th and 9th for leadership conference attendees. NGAA/EAANG conference attendees must contact the Embassy Suites to reserve lodging for the additional nights required for attendance at the NGAA/EAANG joint conference. You will be able to remain in the same room for both conferences, but you must notify the hotel of your additional lodging requirements for the NGAA/EAANG conference.
Those not attending the leadership conference should, as usual, contact the hotel to reserve lodging for the NGAA/EAANG joint conference. The room rate for the joint conference is $109.00 per night.

But wait, there’s more! The annual NGAA Partners in Patriotism golf tournament will be at the Shadow Valley Country Club in Rogers on Wednesday, April 7th. This premier event is sponsored by NGAA headline and platinum corporate members and includes great prizes, player gifts and flight winner awards. The fun begins with lunch at 11:00 a.m., and tee time at 12:00 noon. Players should register early for the two person scramble as the number of teams is limited. Details are provided on the tournament registration form available by clicking on the form below.
